Individual trader
It is a commercial enterprise established by a single person and the owner is personally responsible for any obligations in all her assets and any individual has one individual institution registered in her name.
One-person company
It is a company that takes the form of a limited liability company whose capital is fully owned by one natural or legal person to submit the person concerned to apply for a commercial register (one-person company)
Limited Liability Company
The limited liability company consists of a number of natural or legal persons not less than two, and not more than (50) fifty persons, and their liability is limited to the obligations of the company as much as their share in the capital. The company's capital is divided into shares of equal value, released at the time of registration
Solidarity company
A joint-alidus company is a commercial company consisting of two or more natural persons, who are jointly responsible in all their money for the obligations of the com company, and the responsibility on the death of any of them shall pass to his legacy for the unfulfilled obligations
Recommendation Company
A recommendation company is a commercial company consisting of two categories of partners: 1 or more joint partners who are jointly responsible for all their money for the company's obligations. 2 One or more notors of them lisified partners shall be responsible for the company's obligations as much as their participation in the capital, provided that the amount of that participation shall be specified in the incorporation documents.
Omani Public Or Closed Joint Stock Company
Public shareholding company: The capital of the company is divided into equal values, and each shareholder of the company shall be responsible according to his share of the capital. The closed joint stock company differs from the public joint stock company in not putting its name for public subscription only, but applies with the public joint stock company in all matters
Holding Company
It is a joint stock company that has financial and administrative control over one or more shareholders of limited liability to which it becomes affiliated, through the ownership of at least (51%) of the shares or shares of each of those companies. The holding company invests its money through its subsidiaries. The holding company may not own shares in solidarity or recommendation companies, or own any shares in other holding companies
Commercial Representation Office
Commercial representation office. Offices established in the Sultanate of Oman, and take care of the interests of companies and institutions whose main center is abroad. Foreign companies and institutions operating in the field of trade, industry and services are allowed to open commercial representation offices in Oman.
Branch of a foreign company
Branches of foreign companies are companies that practice private business under contracts or agreements concluded with the Government of the Sultanate of Oman
